In times of unrest and uncertainty, when we need answers to ‘who’ we are, and ‘why’ things are the way they are, we can come across all manner of stories and ideas. In searching for answers and peace, we can get stuck on what we find, and rather than imagining the solution, we can intensify the problem – by paying it too much attention.
After reading some ideas about our human origins last night, I woke this morning feeling somewhat lost and confused. Something dawned on me, and I soon realized….
What matters? … All these ‘stories’ about who we are, where we come from, why we are here?
What matters?
Are we going to hook ourselves up on all these stories, and remain stuck on the cogs of our fears, doubts, and speculations? Or, are we going to travel freely through our/God’s universe, propelled forward by the desires of our heart?
Follow our hearts, and flow with love…. or putrefy, and remain stuck with our fears?
Stuck on finding ‘reason’, and developing intellect in an attempt to conquer and control fear? Or, radically let go of reason, and fall into grace, to allow the gift/the feeling of love to fill your heart and soul, lifting you up on a journey back to Source… back to “God”… back to stillness, peace, and serenity?
“Back to the abyss of nothingness, you mean?!”…. (A Voice of Strife cuts in)
(I smile)
Are we afraid to heal and overcome ourselves…our lives…our fears, for a fear that we will lose our ‘self’?
I remember a saying of Jesus Christ, from the Gospal ‘Q’….
“Those who grasp and clutch at self will lose it. Those who let go of self and follow me will find it.”
